My name is Christy McGraw, and I have been Farmingdale's Technology Teacher since 2007.  I graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield with a degree in Educational Psychology and my teaching certificate.  In 2020 I finished my Master of Arts in Education with a focus on attaining an endorsement in Educational Technology.  I have taken many technology classes such as:  GPS, Webquests, Building Websites, 100+ Cool Online Tools, iPads Apps, SMARTboard, and Google-Noun or Verb.  I wear many hats in the school.  I am the Farmingale yearbook sponsor, Veterans Day Organizer, and Remote Learning Committee Member.  I truly enjoy my job and having the opportunity to get to know all of the students at Farmingdale.

 

My husband and I have three children, all of whom have gone through the Plains school district since kindergarten and graduated from Pleasant Plains High School.  When I am not in school I enjoy reading and being outside as well as spending time with my children and grandchild.  I can be seen walking or riding my bike around my neighborhood, and I love baking and making fudge around the holidays.  I love campfires and just about everything about fall.
